  • discovered in the 80s
  • in amongst lots of limestone that is not easily accessible
  • bram was able to get into a squeeze that drops pretty far, got a phone in to record it
  • can find a trip report from the 80s if you google “neelie creek cave”

poet’s crest (near mt baker)

  • 6 people were there and it was very snowy
  • lots of digs

  • trip down to mexico by texas border
  • weeklong trip during thanksgiving
  • requires vertical expertise but most are welcome

  • groups trying to survey/map caves and need people

national cave rescue commission (ncrc) scholarship

  • proposal: $250 once a year
